Mia - Welcome to the forum. Just returned from your galleries. Looks good. I really liked the Texture image of the jeans.

I have only been in the forum a short time but am having lots of fun. Sharing your work with others, seeing their work and meeting people from all over the world with the same interest as you – Photography, its great. Enjoy the forum - john

Thank you John and Dan for the warm welcome. Your work is exceptional. That is why I decided to join the forum. There is only so much you can learn in a classroom. It takes the experience of others to truely understand the art.
Also Dan, you are so traveled. I am impressed with that and your photo journal as well. I live in a very cultured town rich in the arts, but I have to say there is nothing as captivating as "Widsor Castle" or the "nunnery on crete".
Again thank you both for the welcome. I hope to continue to see more of you both.

Thank you for the kind words. I just finished checking out your galleries and I love the sunsets and the trains. I love shooting portraits. Mostly because I love to catpture in people what no one else sees. The same is true in landscapes and art. The only thing is, I haven't been able to show the same passion in my art and landscapes as I have in people. Something about the human body really motivates me to create. I must confess, I am a little invious of those of you who can capture the beauty that I can't see. YET!!!
