Drops with a difference!

Post Wed Mar 24, 2004 8:15 pm

Taken yesterday. I thought I'd have a stab at the water droplet thing. It didn't quite work out as I intended but I was pleased with the result nonetheless. All I did in Photoshop was to adjust levels and applied USM. The heart I printed out on to a sheet of A4 and placed under a glass coffee table. I then sprayed water onto the glass and shot from above with a +4 filter attached to the camera. I used a spotlight with a daylight simulation bulb to light the drops and heart.

I always wondered how that was done. I hope you don't mind if I give it a shot.

I think that your results are excellent! I like that the hearts are not all in the center of the droplets. It gives it some character

Nice work

Now that is stunning! I'm new to photography and every day I can be amazed by the possibilities that this hobby offers. I just hope that I would find the time to practice more myself.

Hope to see more of these!
