I enjoyed viewing your Blackpool shots from the 1950s, my Dad's family is from that area and he has quite a few shots of that place from the 1940's on. Recently I spent some time archiving lots of his old photos many from the Blackpool area, either scanning old prints or photographing old slides and negatives. As a kid in the 1960s I had a lot of happy times in the Blackpool area too, I even have one shot on pbase from that time (taken by my Dad).
