Yes, but it's probably an appropriate idea to include some kind of warning in the gallery titles, etc. Keep in mind that the pictures may rotate through random shots, profile pages, sample pages (from specific cameras or countries), etc., so pictures that aren't made private can come up in open environments or be publicly accessed without warning - even with a caution in the gallery title.

I would qualift that -- artistic nudity is OK, but voyeurstic nudity of the "let's post pictures of our nude wives and girlfriends" type is probably not OK. However, that is just my opinion...

What is or what is not an appropriate nude photo? We don't want to get into that. That said, I have to agree with Nigel about the fact that there is a difference in artistic nudes and “lets all look at each other naked”. Be careful about posting photos of this type where underage people may be exposed to them. As mentioned above, even with a disclaimer the wrong people might accidentally see these photos. By clicking through the popular galleries and popular photo sections I have seen various nude photos. Some artistically done and some not. The “Some Nots” are skipped. The “Others” sometimes pique my interest.

Nudes have been done for centuries. Nudes hold prominent areas in wonderful world class museums.

You have the option of posting these images as “Not for public viewing”. All of your friends could be given access to view them.

No prude, but concerned.
