this was a conference on political prisoners, prisoners of war and racially profiled detainees in the U.S. on friday night there was a benefit concert of local political hip hop bands, featuring presente, the foundation, and dead prez. on saturday, there were a number of civil liberties groups and individuals, some of whom were previous political prisoners, speaking of resistance struggles in and out of the US, political prisoners, and how to move forward.

Palestinian rights activists were joined by Anti-Zionist orthodox Jews on Harvard St in Brookline, MA outside of Congregation Kehillath Israel yesterday (4/20/04) to condemn Israel's assassination of leader Dr. al-Rantissi. The site was chosen to protest a talk by Israeli Occupying Forces General Doron Almog being presented inside.
