At the zoo

On my way to a portrait assignment I passed the Amersfoort zoo,
after I was done I thought, well it's a nice sunny day, I don't have anything else important to do so why not give it a visit and take some pix.

I ended up with about 400 shots. Since most of the pictures had to be shot through glass not all of them came out right, but a lot could be simply enhanced by using the auto-levels in Photoshop.
It was a very nice zoo, Dutch zoos are operating under the motto "less is more", less animals more space. As it was about time to leave I noticed that at the end of the day the animals got quite a bit more active.
Luckily they have a few days when they are open all night, I became a member and certainly go back there.
