do you mean the lanzarote pictures?

Ok, well, first, what photo editing software do you have?

for the first two pics, the camels & the volcano (which i like- interesting subject) you should think about boosting contrast, particularly on the volcano shot.
photoshop (CS, 7, 6, Elements 2 (i think)) allows you to add layers that will affect this without permanently affecting the full picture, use the Layers menu, New Adjustment Layer, Brightness & Contrast. tweak up the contrast, about +15 to +20 (not too much, you will lose other detail)

also, some use of Unsharp Mask (which, despite it's name, sharpens pictures) would be of benefit, esp on the sunset & the night picture. It's under Filters/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask. try a setting of (in this order - there's three sliders) 100,0.5,0 intially, but carefully increase the first to suit - don't over do it, or you'll see white halo effects around contrasty things in the image.

hope that makes sense.

welcome to digital photography.. it's a nice ride...
