Happy Chichester

For anyone familiar with the excellent dscovery of the American independent rock scene in the 90's such as Pearl Jam, with band member Stone Gossard, Gossard also has a side project called, Brad. And from Brad comes a talented musician, Happy Chichester. Happy has worked with Gossard in Brad recordings, and with other talented artist like Shawn Smith (that no one seems to know in the post Britney Spears era.) It's definitely unbelievable music that still sounds like the roots rock since its incarnation 30+ years.

Happy Chicester has his own band called Howlin Maggie, and worked with several other outfits that composed the sound of the independent rock scene of the 90's and 00's. It was a pleasure to get a chance to meet him and hang for a short time. I wanted to use my medium format camera, but for the sake of time and maybe lack of confidence in equipment issues (too much to think about), I just used my digital elph. Although I wish I had time to spend shooting with my 4x5, I could only imagine what the the images might have been. maybe next time.
