Post "Soft Focus"

So I normally don't like soft focus pictures...but this picture seemed to scream for it. I took it, unposed, at a wedding I did last weekend. What other shots do people like soft focused?

I also don't normally like soft focus either, and usually like razor sharp images but this picture I think looked better in soft focus and in monochrome.



the original can be seen here. But a few people have told me the original is best... now I'm not too sure?
