My son's new girlfriend, and my favorite shoot.

Friday the 13th was a good day.
As I unboxed my shiny new Nikkor 85mm lens my son asked me "hey, dad, Kim wants some pictures".
She's never modeled. I'm an amateur.
I also tried out my nikon cord that lets me get my flash off the camera body. I tried so many different settings that I do not know which ones worked well. So I'll try again. I am very pleased with my results. She's a sweety and is also very pleased.

It was a verry nicely overcast day with my off camera flash held out to the left at -.6 or -1 EV fill. Nikon sb800/cs29 cord BL setting

thanks for all the kind comments. She certainly does take some of the pain out of honing my photographic skills, not to mention she makes me look better than I am!
