I would like your opinion

I can't decide which ones I like better, the color or the black and white so I posted both. Would appreciate a comment on which ones you like in color and which ones you like in black and white.

I'll comment on a couple...

Of all the images, the b/w versions of 5578 & 5580 appealed to me the most. Both seemed really suited to b/w treatment, good contrast, interesting clouds.

The last two sets with the flag seemed better in color because the flag tended to get "lost" in the b/w versions. In fact, the color version of 5590 was interesting because only the flag contains much of any color at all -- so the effect is like a PS workup of creating a grayscale image & selecting one area to highlight in color. It's somewhat interesting, but I really think the strongest images are the two b/w images referenced in the previous paragraph.

I think leaving the gallery with a mix of both would be best in my opinion. I do also like the images with the interesting clouds in black & white, but I like the color tones of the color images as well.

Not what you were looking for, but just wanted to give my opinion.

Actually I am thinking of using both of your suggestions. Steve, I agree, I like them both. I think I may move some of the black and white ones into a gallery dedicated to that medium. I don't want them side by side forever and perhaps I will leave off the ones that focus on the flag because it kinda gets lost in the black and white but stands out in the color versions as Mark suggested.
