First Shoot with Beautiful New Model Alexia

Post Fri Oct 01, 2004 5:36 am

I have just finished a shoot with a beautiful young model named Alexia.

It was her first shoot, having never done a professional shoot before. But she was an absolute pro. She was so easy to work with.

Let me know what you think of our images from her first shoot.

Cheers guys.

My suggestions:

1. Keep an eye on the background. The simpler, the better in my opinion.
2. Skin tone is on the cool side, probably from your strobe.

Of course every one has different taste. Mine is more towards simple photo without too many things in the frame and warm colour balance.

My 2 Australian cents, doesn't worth much. :)

Just follow on from Kris's Aussie two cents, here's my 2p Sterling (even though I live in the US I still cling to Sterling...):

If you do not intend to do any post production in Photoshop or similar (where you could fix the skin tone) try a gold coloured diffuser on your flash. Sto-fen make one that just attaches to the front of your flash. See the gold Omni at:

Thanks guys. That is some constructive feedback that I will take on board.

Much appreciated.

I think they are beautiful shots. I love how you have kept them cool (appropriate for the setting I think).

Alexia is gorgeous. Amazing eyes. Beautiful figure (ie not skin and bones like some models) and the hair - what about that hair!

Congratulations to you both. Great images.

Mike
