Having problem posting images

I'm having problem posting images to this forum. I did just like I used to do: e.g. between [img]and[/img] there is the link of my image.jpg, but it shows:

it has never happened before...

please help...

I seemed to be having a similar problem with another site linking back to my pbase gallery.

The URL works but the image does not. I have posted pics hundreds of times so I should know how to do this, but today it is not working.
