I remember seeing the other gallery on this subject ("A Journey Through Bodie Ghost Town" http://www.pbase.com/zeroscan/bodie) a long time ago. Stunning gallery.

Seeing it in color was like a whole different place. I kept jumping between galleries to compare similar subjects/scenes. I noticed a switch in cameras too, from a 10D to a 1D Mark II (nice). Great work.

Great images. Being there at sunrise sure helped. I was there this year also, but at mid day when the lighting wasnt so good. Here's my gallery.

Thanks, baja_traveler. Sunrise sure helps. The light was so magical at sunrise and sunset. Interesting to compare shots of the same subject in different times of the day.
