Your images look good Annie. Try to find a local camera club. Some clubs, if active have monthly photo trips, workshops and contests. Try asking at the local camera stores about clubs. If you have several in your area go to all to see which one will fulfill your needs.

I found many camera clubs on a google search. Even one near me. Worth a try.
