Try Google searching on "Brandywine." It will lead to the Brandywine River Museum, Brandywine Battlefield Park, etc. They are also located in the area and may be able to offer some suggestions.

Actually I live just down the road in Wilmington, DE. The only local pics I have online at the moment are from Delaware:

I think so, and I am not even from this area. There are many interesting and beautiful places in this area: Hagley, Longwood Gardens (try a PBase search), civil war battlegrounds, the Wilmington Riverfront, Philadelphia etc etc. The great thing about Wilmington is that we can be out in the countryside in 10 minutes, Philly is only 20 minutes away and New York and Washington, 90 minutes away by train (in opposite directions).

I was in that area several years ago for business and, yeah, I think it's that beautiful (or at least did on those trips). Of course I live in the greater Los Angeles area and it's just different in so many ways that it's hard to be sure that it's especially nice or typical of the rural areas of much of the east coast which have 4 real seasons, etc.

Do you have seen the movie?
Great landscapes, great photography (the whole artistic direction is superb).
