nice shots guys. we shot our first game last friday and its harder than i thought it would be!! a bit more of an artistic flair to this one, but the rest are more along the usual lines.

My picture was taken with a Canon 1D Mark II digital. I shot with an ISO setting of 1600, manual mode f2.8 and 1/200 shutter speed. Lens was a Sigma 120-300mm f2.8.

Recently I was searching the net looking for tips on shooting high school football and night. It was a pain looking trough all the hits that came up. So I started thinking how a yahoo group of sports shooters would have been helpful. I looked and there are none that I could find easaly. So I desided to start one. Not so I could run it or tell people what to do, I started it in hopes of getting a group of photographers of all levels together.


So far I am the only member as I have just started this group. I don't know if it will take off, but it is worth a try. I am looking for people who just want to be members, or want to help get this going by contributing ideas to attract members. It will be unmoderated aside from the first post to avoid spam, and mostly ran by the group via poles (votes).
