Here are some panoramas from around my hometown. I've tried several tools but most were either expensive or results weren't too good. The best (for me) turn out to be the combination of hugin, panotools, autopano and enbled. At first the whole package looks hard to use but the results are amazing and you can't beat the price

In the distance is Mt. St. Victoire on the horizon.

I just used the software that came with the G2 (PhotoStitch?), and I didn't use a tripod. The seams are quite visible.
