The Art Of looks weird, like you cut it out of something else. Try using a plain text like the album name. I think it will look pretty sweet then.

great photograph, dont like the use or arrangement of type, black would look good, def dont like the art out of, nasty and illegible, great shot though.

actually I like the the type but not the picture. It just looks like a pic taken with a disposable camera (no offense meant.) I would have preferred something like but not this particular photo http://www.pbase.com/nbarbee/image/19525758

I believe "The Art of" is your band name, right? If the way it is on the cover is your logo..like the way KISS wrote their name, then you might want to spend a little more time in photoshop and eliminate the rough edges of the cut and paste. Make it look like a part of the image. A little tighter cropping and put it on another layer and play with it's transparency. The Unsharp mask can give it an ethereal glow if that's what you're shooting for. Like the other commentators said...it stands out..and it should because it's the band's name, but it just stands out a little too much.

Otherwise, I think the cover is first rate. Also, your galleries are a breath of fresh air around here. I've spent enough time in Nova Scotia to know that everybody is nuts over there.....Actually, I come from a place a little further east and we're just as bad.

great pics but the graphics are really bad. I'd be tempted to leave it blank and have just the writing down the side of the cd.

thanks for all the great feedback guys , I should have told you that the the band name was just stuck there to give a n idea this is not the finished product its just the photo the band settled on for a cover. They have a graphic artist working on the band graphic.
