Famous Road for Christmas Lights

Post Wed Dec 15, 2004 4:24 am

Went to a place called Leonard Road last night in Stourbridge, near Birmingham, England. This road is quite famous in the Midlands for raising money from their rather extravagant Christmas lights that they decorate their houses with. They raise money from the visitors for various charities and last year raised over £50,000. Quite amazing when you consider there are only 30 houses or so. Anyway, below are some of the photos I took of the best houses.

:D Nice stuff. Photos don't normally do the lights justice, but you've made a very good job of it.
Now I'll have to go out and try. Think I'll need a tripod though?

definitely recommend a tripod due to the long exposures. mine were all shot with a tripod and remote shutter release on my 300D with an aperture of f16. the shutter speeds ranged from 1.3 secs - 6 secs.

thanks for looking and the comments!
