Drops against the sun

I took this photo this morning and I haven't decided if I'm happy with it. The sun's reflection in the drop and the bottom part of the drop are overexposed. I have another one (which I accidently deleted) where I focused on the reflection but then the rest of the image got way too dark, compensating light didn't really help because it makes the dark gate ugly. What do you think? Is it ok, could it have been better and if so, how?
Does anyone else have a shot like this?
