I wanted to get some opinions on the method of formation of strange ice formations seen in pbase.com/xtranch/onionice. this ocurred after heavy rain followed by a hard freeze, very windy. the formations are numerous and 3to6 inches wide. they form at the base of small weeds.[/url]
