I think you're off to a pretty good start. But here are a few things to consider:
Placing your subject dead center of the image is kind of static. I think you'd do better placing her head in the upper left third of the image (you know-"The Rule of Thirds"). Also, the bright window is very distracting. It draws the eye away from the woman. And the view out the window (at least what we see) isn't particularly interesting. What to do about it depends on the statement you want to make. I much prefer the second image in your "Pictures of Amy" gallery. There, you've used the lovely soft window light without showing the distracting window. But if the picture is supposed to be about her gazing out the window, maybe you could find another window with some dark trees or something like that in our field of view. I don't know...maybe cutting out the window all together is best. You could come a bit closer and try a vertical format with her looking a bit more toward (but not at) the camera. Same great light, same pensive look, but no too-bright window.
But you've done a great job of recognizing some lovely light and getting a pensive shot of your model. Keep "working the scene". I bet there's a much better shot in there somewhere.
