Hi! I'm new to the forum.. just poking around thus far, but I took a look at your work. Very nice shots. I'm usually not a huge fan of B&W.. but you've got some interesting angles/subjects. Where are the photos taken? Part of me wants to see some color though Good work!!! Very nice.

All of the shots were taken around philadelphia. I agree that many of them look better in color, but the specific assignment was black and white. If you want to check out color photos take a look at the rest of my gallery:

I love color and black and white, and it is always a challenge to know when one works over another. In your pictures in question, I would go with black and white. I feel if the images were in color they would not have what it takes to be a successful color image. In Some I do like the way you used the space and I agree that others need a focal point. I always try to remember to pick the use of black and white or color based on which works well, not which one I like best! Good luck in your class....I am about to graduate myself and I know what kind of hard work you are putting into this!

I looked at your work, voted, left comments. You are doing great stuff. Looks like you may have found your life-long calling. Please, keep capturing beauty and leaving us room (as you already do) for us to put our own interpretation in. Your shots look very saleable to me.
