I would take the inspiration you had in "ruined...again" and work with that. It is the only photo in the gallery has intriguing lighting, and the composition is much better than the other photos. Many of them seem repetetive, and they have technical problems such as poor exposure and color balance. Try and let your pictures tell a story. In that respect, the close-up portrait works the best.
