For those of you interested in the unique and 'ancient' sport of cyclocross, I'm just starting to post images from this year's championships in Portland. Holiday and work schedules have prevented me from uploading galleries sooner.

Please leave a comment if you have time. This type of action photography is new to me, so I have a lot to learn. I've been renting equipment for these events and my learning curve so far has been really steep since I have not had time to learn how to optimize the numerous features and settings.

Several more photos have been added to the Stumptown event gallery as well as the National Championships galleries (LINKS ABOVE).

This was my first time using digital capture at these kinds of events and I spent most of my time at these races just trying to figure out how to use the rented Nikon D2H and lenses that I had.

I'm wondering what I can do differently (e.g., panning shots, more wide angle perspectives of the venue, tighter crops, etc.). Even if you're not interested in cyclocross, I would love some feedback from some of the sports photogs here.
