New Photos from a New Member

After a couple of weeks as a trial member I have finally put down my plastic to be a member. Thanks to Alfred Holy http://www.pbase.com/fckdm1998 for introducing me to PBase.

I have been with another online photo site for many years but decided to post with PBbase because of the member interaction.

Take a look at my galleries and let me know what you think:

The colors in your images are very dramatic -- very powerful. The shot of Rushmore is fabulous: how did you achieve that sky? If I don't offend in asking, was that exposure control or photoshop? It's great, regardless how it was captured! I left a comment on the Winslow Arizona corner because that just cracked me up. Nice work -- welcome to pbase.

Mt. Rushmore Photo

The blue sky was a result of a polarizing filter which I keep on my lens all the time when I am shooting landscapes. Also, I do some color correction in Photoshop but I mainly rely on my polarizer to get those deep blue saturated colors (good weather helps too).
