My first try on photography, pls comment

I just bought my new camera for an week and wanna have some serious try on photography, this is what i did from the starting point of the learning curve, pls have a look and give me some comments, thanks.

You are off to a good start. The critique I came up with was to not crop away small portions of the main subject as you have done in some of the pictures. You could probably benefit from reading up on composition which I find to be somewhat uneven in quality.

I am not a fan of artificial backgrounds in nature shots, but know that many people love them.

Just my very personal taste and thoughts.
