Tournament of Roses Float Decorating

I've put in a small gallery of Rose Parade float decorating to show how the floats change rapidly between Christmas and New Years Day. These are of the South Pasadena entry. SP is the oldest self built entry in the parade, 3 generations of my family have worked on floats at various times. My daughters were able to spend time with their grandmother this year and carry on the tradition. Although the floral decorating is almost all completed during the last week actual constuction typically begins in September with planning, design selection, etc., beginning as soon as a new theme is announced.
