Photo a Day 4 a Year – 4th Month Done

Please feel free to take a look at my gallery and critic my work. I have been shooting photos daily and posting the best one at the end of the day. I’ve found this exercise to be very rewarding creatively and also a fabulous way to learn how to use my Canon EOS 10D. It’s a bit of a challenge to find something daily that I think makes a good photo and some are better than others. I don’t just shoot something to make my daily quota but try to create images that expand my knowledge of this camera. One result of this test has been an expanded desire for new lenses and extension tubes!

I am originally from near Pgh. and spent quite a bit of time in the college area of Oakland, so your Cathedral scenes are nostalgic. Do you live in or near Oakland? Student?
