PBbase and PNG

I am delighted to discover that PBase smoothly works with PNG files. It uploaded my alpha transparency image, displayed it correctly on the web (didn't convert it to JPEG), and even made small and medium sizes in PNG as well, preserving the variable alpha transparency!

How does it look on your system?

* Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows premattes the image on white since it (still) doesn't understand how to display the alpha channel.
* Opera reads the image just fine and lets my black background show through.

I haven't tried Firefox yet. Internet Explorer for Macintosh I believe displays the image fine.
