Mug shots was alot of fun, thanks to all who contributed.
Now what would you like this weeks subject to be? I have some ideas but I picked last week.

Creative ideas needed.

Maybe a fall theme? It really does not matter to me....I'll post just about anything.

Ok... I'll bite to that. Here's my one and only fall theme image that I have up here so far... many more tucked away waiting to be displayed - Tracy!

Good subject. P.S. it's not easy to find subject matter living in SW Florida.

Tracy, you picked one from my favorite gallery! Peter, I love the intense red on the oak leaves. JB, cemeteries are great fall subjects...the "dying" theme and all. Nice shot with the huge maple and the gate.

Libra, love that little house surrounded by trees...would be a nice place to live!

Don, I think I'd prefer these without the Paint Engine treatment, but they are nice pics, especially the last one.

Darter, nice close up. This is the same type of maple we have in our backyard, and I have seen more of these leaves lately than I want to...they're allllll over the yard! :) I love the Ansel Adams quote!

I am reposting this one since I noticed that the link was broken. I fixed it and here it is for real this time. :) It was taken in the hills of northwestern Pennsylvania. I added just a touch of soft focus with Photoshop.

Phyllis...the originals are unimpressive without the pe treatment. OOF...bad color balance..terrible lighting...terribly harsh contrast and poor resolution. Thse were shot in the terrible midday sun in heavy winds. It is either this or nothing. Might be your preference Phyllis...the photoshopping autumn gallery stayed pretty popular for a while. I am glad somebody liked them. :)

Phyllis....here is the original of the one you liked the best above. Some of the other even worse originals I would not dare post. I prefer the depth, textures, colour, lighting and strokes and overall effect of the painted one myself. This shot was taken at the stronghold outside Oregon onold Rt2 that runs along the rock river. This original is ok but has no pop in my opinion. The other two originals look much, much worse.

For comparison.
