I think it's terrific! Best puddle shot I've seen I think. Love the colors too!

What up Mr Beef? Shooting the small ponds I see. We don't even have that for scenery here now. Good day.

Judging by your impressive shots you MUST have some great scenery near you!

Thanks Phyllis! I was just putting the camera away for the day and then I saw it. I had to keep waiting for the traffic to calm as the cars kept driving through the puddle!

Thanks Mr beef, but it does not change things. Everything is muddy, brown, or dirty looking and real ugly around here until spring basically. Time to photograph the housecats or something. :)

Cheers

Not to be beaten completely though, I had a look at your winter pics, I took this yesterday:

britishbeef - that is a wonderful shot.... looks like you may have caught part of the sunset at the bottom of the puddle...... very nice!

Alex - another very nice refection shot --- but the second one does say cold!

I had taken pictures after an Ice Storm last week and here is one of my favorites:

mpdequalsyfsm - one hell of a nickname you've got :D

A very nice shot, did you take any more of that tree? I'd suggest maybe trying standing slightly left of the shot & cropping the picture tighter, it'd give more detail of the ice on the branches and might make it slgihtly easier on the eye - it's always tricky trying to get subjects to look good centre frame,

Look forward to seeing more,

-Alex

Thank you Alex, and thank you for you insight. I am just learning how to take pictures and have much to learn. I have a gallery from the ice storm and did take other pictures of that tree...

Edit:

forgot the link to the gallery! LOL

Another puddle shot

I couldn't resist adding another puddle shot:

Of course the cathedral was upside down as I originally saw it. I can't quite decide whether or not it was a good idea to rotate 180 degrees.
