Deserving of a Vote

What will it take to get folks to start voting for individual images? There are so many on pbase, but very few of them are showing up in the popular photos list. For example, this one only has 3 votes! Surely someone else besides me and two others find this to be an exceptional photo! If you do, please vote for it!

I have started this thread with the hope that others will post really outstanding photo finds here that they think are worthy of our votes, and hopefully this effort will help to get the popular photo list in order, so it has some real meaning. Post only those that are truly exceptional in your opinion, not just "good enough."

EDIT: Post only LINKS...do not embed actual images since it's not proper to do so without the owner's permission. Thanks.

Please do NOT post any links to your own photos here...let's be humble and generous in this thread.

And most important, please please VOTE for excellent images, one at a time, as you find them, whether you bother to share them here or not.

This was a very good idea. Weather people vote for them or not at least we can get to share the photos we enjoyed best and found special for one reason or another.

Arif, some really nice ones here...thanks! You really shouldn't post the actual image if it isn't your own. Besides it's more useful to post the link instead of the picture, because that way it's easier to get to the image to vote for it if you want to.

Don, why not just ask nicely?
