The 'watermark' it's a good idea?

I'm torn on visible watermarks myself. I think it is a big detractor for bot pleasure viewin and piracy. One day I like'em the next I don't. BTW-You have a phenominal hit count....what forums do you hang in? Your stuff is nice.

Nice photo's, but hate the watermark.

Sorry, this is like printing "Don't Photograph!" All over the Monalisa.

I mean seriously, the photo is your art, and what you have done is cover the art with copywrite notices ????

If you are paranoid about people stealing your photo's to make money off, the best thing is to make them smaller. If you are worried that people will simply copy onto their hard drive for personal use, well then I am lost.

You are a very good photographer, but it sadens me to see such great works destroyed in the name of commercial interests.

I don't mind the watermark at all. This is a great collection of gorgeous shots of beautiful women. I wish I'd been there, too!

With many photogs using on-line portfolios, if this were my set of pix, I'd watermark them, too. It'd be too easy for someone to take them all and use them as their work. Probably won't take any money of your pocket, but it's the principle of the whole thing. Your work--you keep 'em.

Just had a look at your pictures, and I must say I really hate the watermarks. So much so I didn't bother looking at more than one to see what it was like.
Please do away with them, put a (c) on by all means but don't obliterate the picture.
If you take photos for money, then why post them here at all.
