Canary Warf

Post Thu Jan 15, 2004 10:46 pm

Hi Keith,

The one of Canary Warf is intelligently done. I love the crop. The effect is now hypnotic. Very clever indeed.

The second one is also arty.

I love architecture! I don't have any such shots yet, but I can admire these. Keith, your first one is like an optical illusion...love it.

We're lucky to have some great work here in Hong Kong - IM Pei, Cesar Pelli, Norman Foster... and soon, SOM.

This a reflected view of Foster's design for HSBC.

There's lots more in my Hong Kong architecture gallery at http://www.pbase.com/framewerkz/hkarch ... and in fact, scattered among the Italy galleries are some great examples of 18th/19th churches.

Thanks for the comments Arif and Phyllis.

Framewerkz, great shots in that gallery. Exchange square is great! (p.s. your logo was showing a red x for a minute just then....)

Geoff, I loved the beautiful shot of Clifton Bridge. Congrats! Arif

PS. Some of the images may be getting a bit too small to appreciate now, such as the University one by darter02. I suppose one can go to the link to see them, but there is no point in overkill. What do you think?
