Hi, Bryan! I don't know why you called this "squirrel pictures." I didn't find the squirrels, but the lightning shots were great! Thanks for including exif info because now I have a clue how to do this. I am surprised the exposure was 20 seconds. I will try that this spring.

By the way, if you want to attract folks to your gallery with a fake category, "girls" would beat "squirrels" any day! :D

It's good that you liked my lightning photos. The squirrel pictures are on the bottom of the page, it was just being created when I posted this, so it may have not been up yet. I love the lightning around here, just remember to close the apature down and up the exposure time and cross your fingers. Happy Shooting

Bryan, yes, the gallery is up now. Cute poses. I like the pose you caught here: http://www.pbase.com/image/22133857 How funny! We had some wooden bird feeders once and the hole was too small for squirrels, which was "supposed to" (hahahahahaa) keep them out! Took about a day for them to chew it bigger and eat all the seeds! Now I provide enough sunflower seed for the birds and the squirrels and any starving escaped convicts who happen by. All the more fun, and more critters to take pics of! Haven't shot a convict yet though. Not with a camera. :)

Hi,

Just went out and gave a dollar's worth of roasted peanuts to the squirrel population here.

Got some squirrels up at

Please come by and watch your fingers,

Lots of cute pics! I love the squirrel trying to fit into a bird feeder box!

I have a gallery of squirrels also. Here's my favorite pose:

How about dassie?

Not exactly a squirrel, but a close relative from South Africa. This shot was taken on top of Table Mountain in Cape Town.
