Hi everyone!

My name is Andrea and I'm 13 years old. I've loved taking photos all of my life, and I recently bought a digital camera. I'm completely obsessed with taking black and white photos, and I have a few of them uploaded to my trial account (which I will pay for soon). Will you please check them out? Comments and criticism are welcome! :D

Thanks!

Andrea

Andrea, you are off to a fine start. I like your photos, especially the tourists and the Best Buy guy. Keep at it. I look forward to seeing more of your work on Pbase.

Thanks for your comments! :D

Dan, you should be seeing more soon! I take tons of photos every day. ^_~

"Bigbad", I'm actually not sure what kind of camera it is! I think its some sort of Kodak Easyshare? Gosh, I'm embarrassed now, lol.
Oh, and thanks for the link! :)

Photo a Day

There's another link you might be interested in. Its a group of people who's goal is to take at least one photo each day and eventually get one posted so that at the end of the year you have 365 pictures to showcase for the year. its a neat concept, i keep meaning to join in but haven't managed to yet.

As long as you are enjoying your camera, thats the important thing, not what kind. i was just curious. :D

Hi,
There is talent in your pictures.
If you like B&W I would suggest you to look for Ansell Adams pics on the net.

Andrea - Great photos, and only 13. Most young people do not see B&W as artistic. Review photos in-camera constantly. Digital is the very best teaching tool around.

Digidawg, thank you very much! :)

Wanted to let everyone know that I've updated & changed my galleries a bit, and my account is paid for now. Tommorrow I'm getting a better camera, so I'm quite sure I will be updating them a lot because of that. :D
