Need your comments on the photos from these two ancient villages that i've converted to black & white.

Are they OK, or i don't know how to postprocess to B&W.

Joaquim, I've posted some comments. Your pictures look great, b.t.w. Just adding a bit of contrast might even further enhance them.

It's what I've done for years in the dark room and now in the digital dark room of Photoshop it's even easier! Adding contrast gets you results like this (funny enough, I've done an assignment years ago on the same subject; rural life in Northern Portugal):
