Made this one last week with a Nikon D100. Screwed the 70-300 zoomlens on it (which I normally use for my analogue Nikon F100 camera). Spot-metering on the moon-surface.

P. Sinclair has this one http://www.pbase.com/image/1784219 wich was taken with a galactic camera. Worth a look in Original size (try to find somebody there)

As a general hint - try to picture the Moon when it is NOT full.
The contrast is much better.
