I have a couple more that I think I'll be posting later. I've e-mailed the group about the site so left a few off. I'm going to choose one of them to frame up as a gift to the couple so I don't want to give it away. I wasn't the "official" photographer so only tried to get a few shots and to stay out of the way. It was deathly hot out there, so we weren't inclined to do much moving around out of the shaded areas. The chairs were almost unusable as they'd been out in the sun and even chairs set up right before the ceremony became pretty much too hot to touch in a mater of minutes. I set down my walking stick for the ceremony and the metal head was unholdable by the the time we got up to leave. We ended up in a lot of tourist's pictures - tour buses going to or frm Las Vegas often stop there. There are a series of events in more temperate times of the year that attract far more people, both re-enactors and tourists.
Perhaps surprisingly, the clothing isn't as hot as it might first seem - the wool and cotton do well for breathability, etc. Although the high boots and heavy felt hats are a little stuffy.
