*Show us all your best Photo Shop Creations!*

Post Tue Jun 15, 2004 4:34 pm

After looking at the Black and White with a little color topic, I found it very helpfull and usefull to learn from that! So I want everyone that uses photo shop to post there best creations, and tell us all in a nut shell how you did it. There is a lot of great digital art out there, and I among many others want to learn from YOU! Thanks a lot!

Perhaps I should bite...

This was done in my time honoured way of late:
Channel Mixer (112,100,-122) Monochrome box ticked, set layer to, I think, Hard Light as a layer style, tho it might've been Pin LIght.
& then various curve layers etc to adjust.

this one is as the caption says, but from memory, the channel mixer was applied as above, but with Exclusion chosen as a layer style. Then I added a Hue/Saturation layer above it, turning saturation all the way down i think, but if not, a hint of blue with the Colorise box ticked.
then curves contrast etc to suit.

should add that the Nikkor 12-24 provided the mad distortion of the ruin.. i love pointing this lens nearly to the floor or sky, capturing the skyline & whatever object in its distortion...

finally

same as before, layer style set to Mulitply. No Hue Saturation layers tho.

I first shot a burning nazi flag picture in my garden grill. Converted it with the "Splash of colours" technique (see previous post). The other picture comes from the Band of Brothers DVD booklet, converted in B&W, blended with the first shot. I added some grain et voilà....
I hope it makes sense

From the zoo:
Image

This one came from a trip to Gatlinburg. While hiking, a friend said she was bit by a ladybug... we found a ladybug later on, I took a pic of it, and felt obliged to um... play around with it a bit. :D

Not a great photochop by any means... but that kind of adds to it I thought.

I took this back when I had a crappy camera. It's my brother's jeep coming up a muddy hill. The pic was terrible, and cropping it only made it worse. So I tried to salvage it via some photochopping. Eh... it kept me entertained for a half hour or so. :D

WOW!!
Vikki, Your Bush-gender conversion is terrific. And Bush is a better looking woman than he is a man.LOL.

This winds the award for best PhotoShop. This is the most impressive Post Processing I've ever seen. Many who view your creation will not realize that both prints are Bush.

You're good, lady!

Don't have photoshop, but this is Paintshop Pro. Not as good as the dog OOB above, but I felt left out. LOL

I tend to minimize use of, in my case, usually, Photodeluxe for effects, but will clone out unnecessary (at least for the pictures) light poles, power lines, etc.

This one I had to redo a lot of the sky by the tower besides getting rid of some akward trees.
