Been playing around with Hugin/PanoTools for a few nighs now - steep curve to get things working... While not totally pleased with this:

just tried my first one,

Both done free hand in PS CS and unfortunately without the use of a tripod. Was just goofing around and figured I'd give it a try. One of these days I need to try stitching...and of course to remember to carry the darn tri with me.

Just out of curiosity, did you check to make sure that your camera settings were the same for each shot? I noticed the WB was slightly different on the pics on my first attempt. Adjusting them all to the same setting seemed to take care of that. But then I don't know how it works with a stitching program.
