What to do with 'Trapped' ?

I'm stumped, what is wrong with this shot? I know it's wrong, but I'm not sure what ails it...



...is there still too much of that white border? Dare I try to lighten just the door?

BTW I realize I'm asking for an a**-whoopin here so have at it.

Maybe too clean and neat for such an image. Try rotating 20 degrees CCW and cropping to a vertical.

Actually I like it -- even the lens distortion adds something...
