Closed Mental Institution

This past weekend my husband took me out to find something to shoot.
I'm not sure how, but we ended up at the State Mental Institution that has been closed for 10 years now.
It was closed because of severe abuse to the patients who lived there.
Anyway, the door was unlocked so we went in with camera in hand.
The pictures aren't really that great but it was an awesome yet eerie experience.
This is my very first photo journal type project.
