Ever have a blurry picture you like anyway?

Post Sat Dec 18, 2004 10:04 am

Post your pictures that at first seem like a mistake and then seem to grow on you...

Here's one I took the other night last week. After a little post processing and warming up the picture a bit, I like the uniform movement of the blur.

Here's another with my Minolta Autocord, where the film got heat damaged, but the image came out pretty nice and after a little bit of noise reduction, I like the final result.

This one would be nice without blur, but I couldn't disclude it:

I did some sharpening on these but couldn't get rid of it without messing up the photo but after staring at them for a while, it seems appropriate in the first one and the second one I just liked it softer...

Here's a blurry capture of mine that I like:

It's not been uploaded to my account as yet so I am linking to the STF challenge gallery where I have uploaded it.

I like this one, was going to throw it out but decided after some Photoshop work that I'll keep it.

Bob, the blurring here adds excitement to the picture...love it!

Anders, the bird pic is fantastic! Glad you didn't throw it out!

Gillette, a very successful experiment!

Here's my favorite blurred photo. Sure I'd be happier with a non-blurred one, but this is what I ended up with, so it's a keeper just the same. I worked on it a little with Photoshop, and added a soft glow gaussian blur layer to make the camera movement from slow exposure less noticeable.
