No its not too racey. Very "flat". You need to work on composition.

Snapshot.

What's to compose? An old ford rusting away in a field doesn't need to be "composed" ....it's just waiting to be photographed. Great shot, slowglue.

Nothing worse than photo snobs.

Methinks this poster is slightly irritated by your original and witty Show and Tell threads.

Hey glue,
Love the shot, mainly I suppose, because I learned to drive in a '66 that looked quite similar to that one. Keep em comming

thanks pinemikey

I just try to put a humourous slant on things , not every photograph u take is gonna be great. JC5056 is clearly intimidated by my superior skill and talent. I already know Im the worlds best photographer so the only thing to do is make people laugh instead of crap there pants when they look at my work.

to JC5056: Just to let you know bud, Im a hitman and Ive already sent out a contract request on you. say your prayers :x

Nice picture but it is a ford.

Stick to Chevy's and your photography will improve

PS I don't think your picture is flat, just two dimensional.

snapshot?

I like your shot of the old Ford. Simple and direct, yes - but that doesn't mean it's a "snapshot". I've seen similarly composed photos of old vehicles from "real pros", and this one is better because the "pros" left in extraneous and distracting elements in the surroundings. So this one wins.
