We all (ok, not all, but most) like to have comments & votes on our work - so do I.

I think the principle of "comments trading" is worth a try. So: For any 5 comments/critiques on any of my galleries/photos you'll get (at least) 6 back. (I don't only give positive feedback and don't only expect so, btw. Be constructive so we can learn from each other the most possible)

I went, I looked, I commented and voted. Thanks for posting these. Please feel free to come over an look at my work. I think it is radically different from yours but might be worth at least some viewing. My People and XX Beautiful Women galleries are particularly what I enjoy: candids.

And again, anyone who tags up here, I will look at, comment upon, and probably find at least one vote. Please, even if you say you are an amateur, your comments are worthwhile.

Not really qualified to comment as I only bought my first camera 6 months ago, but I'll try & be constructive.
All my pics are handheld & without flash, but if anybody can tell me how to get better, especially macro, pics I'd appreciate it. Forget the birds, only started a couple of weeks ago.
Have had a quick look at "uese" pics & find them stunning (colour & style) - will go back & take a closer look.

Just because you've not been doing it long don't stop yourself commenting. I've only taken pics since a trip to Peru in 03, then a another trip in 04. Since the end of 04 i've become a lot more interested. So i've only been doing it 6 months myself really. But I know if I like an image or not and I'll comment, because it's all about opinions. Not just technical knowledge. I have none of the knowledge and plenty of the opinions Looking at PBase, making comments and reading other people comments has given me loads of ideas.

You have some great images, I voted for several of these and one of your galleries. Your challange provoked me to take a deeper look. Interestingly, I did not do this to gain more votes for my galleries, but more to take time to look at another photographer's work. One of my favorities:

Had a quick look at all the people who have left comments areas and in different ways,styles and themes they are all fantastic!
Thats the wonderful thing about it to me..different styles,ideas,cameras,subjects etc etc.
Thats what I love about this site,its always changing.
Lots for me to learn and one day improve on hopefully.

The idea of feedback is very good. Ellsworth you have some great images. I’ve looked at your Pixie gallery in the past and several of your other galleries recently – very nicely done. This time I posted comments that were overdue. Congrats on the fine work, please keep posting.

Thanks for the comments related to the Thailand galleries, I enjoy the people and culture. I will have some new additions from a recent trip to Northern Thai / Burma trip up soon.

This is very good thread. I have spent lot of good time browsing the galleries "advertised" here.I found many galleries to comment and vote.

Off course, I would love to have your comments (both critical and supportive) and honest votes (if worth).
