Taking advantage of the shade in Namibia. I believe the tree is a Camel Thorn, of the Acacia family. Amazing that the river flows so seldom that the tree can take root and grow so large in the riverbed, but that is flows strongly enough to carve such deep banks.

This is a bird's nest in a tree growing in a steep, rocky canyon in Namibia. With the white bark and location it could be the wild rock fig, but I cannot be sure as I forgot to ask.
