Thank you everyone, for you compliments, critique and helpful tips! I couldn't ask for more. I'm so glad that I joined Pbase and am therefore surrounded by so many outstandingly talented people, all with common interests and goals. Thank you.

CJ - You have pin pointed my goal when setting up a flower shot. The last thing I want is for my gallery to look like a page ripped out of a seed catalog. I'm glad that it seems that I have avoided that.

Shadepuppy - I agree with you that I tend to blow things out...I don't know why that seems to attract me. Once I scan a photo into my computer I immediatly want to see what it will look like if I over expose it a little.... I'm working on leaving a original that I loved before I scanned it in alone. Anyway, thank you for you tips. You have given me something to think on.
